Pamela Sue Martin made her first television appearance in the made-for-television movie The Girls of Hunting House. Over the next couple of years she would spend her time making both theatrical films as well as made-for-TV fare. In the late 70s she hit pay dirt with the role of Nancy Drew in the Nancy Drew/Hardy Boy Mysteries. She would stay with the show only two season before quitting over disappointment in the direction of the show.

In the later part of the 1970's Pamela Sue would continue to made made-for-television movies and then would reach her height of television fame when she accepted the role as Fallon Carrington Colby on the nighttime soap Dynasty. Produced by Aaron Spelling, Dynasty would soon become one of the top rated series in the 1980s. During this time she would also make several guest appearance on other Aaron Spelling programs, and appear in several mini-series. Again disappointed with Hollywood and all it's trappings, she would quit Dynasty after only four seasons.

For most of the following decade she would be absent from our television screens making a guest appearance every now and then. In February 2002 she would make a guest appearance on That 70's Show playing the Wizard in a spoof of The Wizard of Oz.
