the daughter of playwright Allan Scott. She also appeared in
the 1958 Film Auntie Mame playing Pegeen Ryan. |

Carl Betz was probably best know for
his role as Dr. Alex Stone on The Donna Reed Show from 1958-1966.
He appeared in several other television shows as a guest star
including Starsky and Hutch, Marcus Welby, M.D.,
Barnaby Jones, The Streets of San Francisco, Love,
American Style, Mission: Impossible and The Mod
Squad. His guest star turn on the A Haunting We Will
Go episode of The Hardy Boy Nancy Drew Mysteries
was one of his last. He died from lung cancer in January of
1978. |

Bob Crane starting working in television
in 1953 appearing a guest star in several shows such as The
Twilight Zone, The Dick Van Dyke Show, and Alfred
Hitchcock Presents before landing the role of Col. Robert
E. Hogan in Hogan's Heros. That show ran from 1965-1971.
In the early morning hours of June 29, 1978, Bob Crane was brutally
murdered in his rented apartment. He was beaten to death while
he slept, and strangled with an electrical cord. He was 49 years
old. in 2002 a movie of his life entitled Auto Focus
was released starring Greg Kinnear. |

Dina Merrill is the daughter of E.F.
Hutton, the stockbroker. Her mother was Marjorie Merriweather
Post, a member of high society. Her grandfather on her mother's
side was Charles William Post, the founder of Post cereals.
Her first cousin was Barbara Woolworth Hutton, a member of high
society and once wife of Cary Grant. She spent her winters growing
up at Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach, Florida's largest and most elaborate
estate. Today, Mar-a-Lago is owned by Donald Trump, who rescued
the estate from condemnation in 1985, and painstakingly restored
it to its former glory. Starting on Broadway, she moved into
television and movie roles and has appeared on such shows as
Bonaza, Batman, Hotel, Mission: Impossible,
The Nanny and Roseanne. Her film appearances include
The Player, A Wedding, Operation
Petticoat, and Desk Set. |
